Image of the procession that accompanied the funeral of the Valencian writer and essayist Joan Fuster through the streets of Sueca, Valencia (Spain), with institutional representatives and figures linked to Valencian culture moving among numerous attendees. Among the participants documented at the head of the procession were Joan Lerma, then President of the Generalitat Valenciana, and the journalist and writer Vicent Ventura, a close friend of Fuster. The photograph places them within the group moving behind the cortege, accompanied by other attendees and uniformed officers, and offers an especially clear perspective of the institutional and cultural scale attained by the farewell.
