Original 35mm photographic negative. Rehearsal or preparation scene for the theatrical production Apocalipsis, voz de mujer (Apocalypse, woman's voice), by Yorgos Jimonas based on the Revelation of Saint John, at the Roman Theatre of Sagunto, Valencia, Spain. The production was overseen by Greek actress Irene Papas, who was also responsible for the artistic direction and starred in the performance. The show incorporated part of the Ex It installation by artist Yoko Ono, as well as music by the artist herself. It also featured Carmen Linares, the Valencia Choir, and other performers, with stage direction and choreography by Vicente Sáez and musical direction by Joan Cerveró. Photograph dated July 22, 1998, the eve of the world premiere held on July 23, 1998, at the Roman Theatre of Sagunto. Only the original physical medium is for sale.
