A police shield occupies the foreground in front of protesters gathered next to the headquarters of the Consell Valencià de Cultura in Valencia (Spain), separated by barricades during the day of the Opinion on the Language. Above the crowd, a banner stands out with the accusation "C.V.C.= assessins del idioma valencià" [C.V.C.= assassins of the Valencian language], while another sign mentions the PP and PSOE and questions the linguistic agreement, bringing together in the same frame the security measures and some of the most forceful messages displayed by the participants in the protest.
