Original 35mm photographic negative. Two large works by the artist José María Yturralde dominate one of the rooms of his exhibition at the IVAM Centre Julio González in Valencia (Spain), facing each other on either side of an opening that allows a view of other compositions installed in the adjoining room. The photograph highlights the intensity and subtle variations of the color fields, as well as the spatial arrangement of the installation, with the reflections of the works on the floor and a circular seat occupying the foreground. The absence of visitors allows the exhibition installation to be documented with particular clarity on the eve of its opening. Photograph dated 12/21/1999.
